Brief Description: Take a journey with us to Tombstone, Arizona. You’ll get a chance to see where the OK Corral gun fight took place and see a reenactment of the fight itself at 1 pm. Until that time you can enjoy shopping and looking at area attractions in old town Tombstone.

Grand Canyon Railroad Day Trip

Brief Description: Take a train ride with us from Williams, Arizona to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. You’ll see scenery on our destination to the Grand Canyon that will simply take your breath away. Once we arrive at Grand Canyon Railroad Depot, you’ll have the chance to visit various shops, eateries and of course the Grand Canyon itself.

Luke AFB Triathlon

Brief Description: Bike, Run & Swim to compete in this year’s Triathlon. Prizes will be awarded with the top three finishers in each category. Timing system will be used again this year since it was a great incentive for new participants last year. Tri-gear will sponsor us again.

Slide Rock Day Trip

Brief Description: Take a trip with us to a 43-acre historical apple farm located in Oak Creek Canyon known as Slide Rock State Park. The park is named after the famous Slide Rock which is a slippery creek bottom. You’ll have the chance to swim, wade, picnic, bird watch, fish, play volleyball and hike some of the parks trails.To prepare for your visit it would be wise or ideal to bring your bathing suit, sun block, trash bags, and comfortable shoes.

Kartchner Caverns State Park

Brief Description: Join us as we tour the amazing Kartchner Caverns, located south of Tucson. Approximately 1 mile in length and lasting around 3 hours, the tours take place underground. We’ll marvel at the strange and colorful formations, learn about the cave fauna, both ancient and living, experience the wonder of cave discovery, discover the role that water plays at Kartchner Caverns, see the discoverers’ original trail, delicate formations and Kubla Khan, the largest column in Arizona. Children must be 7 years and older to participate in this trip.

“The Santa Claus Express” aboard the Verde Canyon Railroad

Brief Description: We’ll take a ride on Verde Canyon Railroad’s historic route from Clarkdale to the ghost ranch of Perkinsville and back into Arizona’s other grand canyon with special guest. Every single passenger, whether child or simply young at heart, will have the opportunity to spend quality time with Santa on this journey before Christmas. Mrs. Claus will provide cookies, hot chocolate and some motherly warmth. Santa will listen to the secret wishes of each child. Santa will make his way through all the cars of the train spreading holiday cheer, and a little mischief provided by Santa’s special helper, Elfie. This will be an unforgettable experience for you and your family.
