How to Apply
Any individual who is a U.S. Citizen or resident may apply for employment. Upon appointment you must present two forms of identification, for example, original Social Security card or birth certificate and a picture ID. Non-U.S. citizens must present proof of employment eligibility.
Selected applicants must be at least 16 years of age on the appointment date. Some position may require selected applicants to be at least 18 years old or older.
Eligible and qualified Military Spouse Preference (MSP), Transition Hiring Preference (THP) and Veterans applicants receive employment preference and hiring priority. Proof/verification must be submitted for preference consideration and may be emailed or faxed to the Human Resources Office. See Preference link for more information.
Active duty military members are required to obtain approval for off duty employment using AF Form 3902 Application, and Approval for Off-Duty Employment when selected for a NAFI position. Commissioned Officers are not eligible for appointment while on active duty.
HOW TO APPLY
You may submit an application for any position for which you feel qualified. A separate application must be submitted for each position. Resumes may also be attached to the application. Applications consist of minimum Optional Form 612 (OF 612) and Optional Form 306 (OF 306) must be completed, in full, in order to apply for a position. Photocopies of the application package are acceptable. Applications must specify position applying for. Application forms may be downloaded through the Luke Services website, obtained at the HRO or at the Falcon Dunes Golf Course 15100 W Northern Ave, Waddell, AZ (Maintenance Shed).

INTERNAL APPLICATIONS (Current USAF NAF Employees at LUKE AFB)
Current NAF employees must submit an AF Form 2550, NAF Application for Promotion or Other Position Change, to apply for another position. A resume or separate sheet may be attached to the AF Form 2550 outlining additional experience or training not included in the Official Personnel Folder.
UPDATING APPLICATIONS
All applications for continuously open positions are maintained within the HRO and will remain on file for 90 days. To extend your application beyond the 90 days you must come by the HRO prior to the 90-day expiration.
EMPLOYMENT CATEGORIES
REG = Positions with Regular employment category are guaranteed a work scheduled of minimum 20 and maximum 40 hours per week and eligible for the following benefits and compensations: Group Health & Life insurances, leave (annual, sick, maternity & paternity), overtime pay, holiday pay, Sunday Premium pay, night or shift differential pay, workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation. Eligible for retirement and employer matching 401(k) savings plan.
FLEX = Positions with Flexible employment do not have a guaranteed work week and are eligible for the following compensations: overtime pay, night or shift differential pay, workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation.
Other Benefits: Generally, all Services programs (except Military dining facilities) may be used by all employees.
